The 4 is a model we’ve been using on most of our boards from 6’6” - 7 ’2”.  Looking at the recommended sizes, you can see this model is very versatile, and is used primarily for bigger surf. After many years of research and design on the north shore of Oahu, this model has gone on to attain a proven track record at various big wave locations all over the world. Over the last couple of years we’ve been very fortunate to have numerous professionals competing, and free surfing in big wave venues such as Tahiti, Western Australia, Indo, and Fiji using the 4 with great success. This success has resulted in a number of event champions, numerous finalists, and many memorable moments in the heaviest conditions. The 4 exhibits a little more rocker then most big boards, and uses a flat bottom that goes into a slight double concave, with vee exiting the tail. This combination has led to a very stable, drivey, and responsive board for those extremely critical situations.

Length Available: 6'6"- 7'2" Depending on what size you’re looking for, we generally recommend that as you order bigger boards for larger surf, that you increase the thickness and width of the board also. We like to use this model for boards that will be used in waves ranging anywhere from 6ft –10ft+.
